TBR Supported Round Shaft Rails have a round shaft seated on a continuous mounting base. The series covers 16, 20, 25 and 30 mm shaft diameters, with catalogue rail lengths up to 4,000 mm and matching open bearing blocks available for the moving carriage.
Description
The support continues beneath the travel path
On an end-supported round shaft, the section between the two brackets spans without support underneath. TBR places a mounting base beneath the shaft along its length. The base connects the guide to the machine bed through repeated fixing positions, giving the shaft support between the ends as the bearing block travels.
The cross-section in Guangyuan's drawing shows how these parts fit together: the round shaft sits above a shaped support, and the support widens into a mounting foot. An open bearing block clears the support underneath while running on the exposed shaft surface. The rail therefore needs to be considered as a shaft-and-support profile, rather than a round bar that can accept any bearing housing of the same nominal diameter.
Four sizes with different base geometry
Guangyuan supplies TBR Supported Round Shaft Rails in four sizes. Moving up the range changes the width of the mounting foot and the position of the shaft axis, as well as the shaft diameter.

All four models have a catalogue maximum length of 4,000 mm. This is the rail length, not the available carriage stroke: the bearing block length and the space reserved at each end reduce usable travel. Likewise, dimension h measures from the mounting surface to the shaft centre, not to the top of an installed block.
The fixing pitch is 150 mm on TBR16 and TBR20, increasing to 200 mm on TBR25 and TBR30. These repeated mounting positions are part of the supported construction. The machine bed still needs to provide a suitable mounting surface; the rail support does not remove the need for alignment during assembly.
What Guangyuan supplies for a cut-length order
The shaft is available in carbon steel or bearing steel. This material choice applies to the shaft and should not be used as a blanket description of the support base or bearing block housing.
Alongside catalogue lengths, Guangyuan offers cut-to-length supply and production to customer drawings. A drawing for a replacement rail can define the overall length together with the end-hole offsets, allowing the mounting pattern to be reviewed against the existing bed. The standard model dimensions remain the reference unless a different construction has been agreed.
