Production Process Of Ball Screw

1. Polishing process before heat treatment

The technological standard of the lead screw lies in the center holes at both ends, which can prevent the end face from being damaged and lead to the accuracy of the center hole. At the same time, the hardness of the center hole should reach 58 ~ 62 HRC, and the accuracy of the center hole is the key to ensuring the accuracy of the ball screw. The adjustment process of the center hole should be arranged before the rough grinding and fine grinding processes, that is, after quenching and aging.

2. Heat treatment and straightening

During the heat treatment of the lead screw, attention should be paid to avoid bending deformation, and the straightening process should be avoided as much as possible. If necessary, thermal straightening treatment can be adopted.

3. Grind

In the method and selection of grinding, we should use different tools and methods according to the material of the workpiece, heat treatment hardness, surface roughness, particle size and hardness of the grinding wheel, rough and fine grinding and so on.
