TBR CNC Slide Rail
CNC worktables and tool holders put a slide through thousands of direction reversals a day, and the flanged slider on this TBR-based system is built specifically to hold up under that kind of repeated cycling without the play that a lighter slider design tends to develop over time.
Description
A mounting flange on each side of the shaft
The housing extends beyond the bearing on both sides, placing four threaded mounting holes outside the shaft opening. This arrangement gives the table designer a wider fixing pattern without adding a separate bearing bracket.
The TBR20UU illustrates the proportions: its housing is 68 mm wide and 51 mm long, with a 54 × 37 mm mounting-hole pattern and four M6 threads. The shaft centre sits 21 mm from the mounting reference face shown in the drawing. These dimensions establish where the table plate sits relative to the shaft and where its fixing holes must be placed.

These are catalog load ratings, not complete machine payload limits. A raised or overhanging workpiece also applies moments to the bearing arrangement.
The running contact is inside the housing
An open recirculating ball bushing forms the working interface with the shaft. The catalog specifies LM16UU-OP through LM30UU-OP inserts for the four standard sizes. Visible ball rows contact the shaft, while retaining rings locate the insert within the housing.
The TBR Flanged Open Bearing Block therefore needs a compatible supported shaft profile as well as the correct diameter. Its underside opening must clear the support throughout travel. The bearing guides the table; a separate screw, belt or other drive supplies movement.
