SCAJ Adjustable Linear Bearing Block
The SCAJ block carries a round shaft in an aluminium housing and allows the bearing clearance to be adjusted during installation.

Product Details The housing contains a sealed recirculating ball bearing with a slotted outer ring. Turning the adjustment screw changes the fit between the bearing and shaft. This can reduce unwanted clearance without replacing the complete block.
Four threaded mounting holes are provided underneath the housing. Standard sizes cover shafts from 8 mm to 50 mm, with the model number matching the shaft diameter.
Product Description SCAJ blocks are used on hardened round shafts in small CNC equipment, printers, measuring systems and general automation machinery. The ball circuits provide low-resistance linear movement, while the aluminium housing makes the bearing easier to mount as a complete unit.
Clearance should be adjusted gradually. Excessive tightening can increase running resistance, damage the bearing or prevent free movement. Shaft diameter, mounting-hole spacing and block dimensions must be checked before ordering.
