Each combination contains two units with different jobs. The BK, EK and FK units form the fixed side of the assembly, where the screw shaft is restrained axially. The matching BF, EF or FF unit supports the other end without duplicating the fixed-side arrangement.

 

BK and BF use a base-mounted housing and cover the broadest size range on this page. EK and EF provide a more compact base-mounted option. FK and FF use a flanged housing where the support unit must be secured against a mounting face.

 

The series designation identifies the housing arrangement and mounting role. It does not by itself confirm compatibility with a ball screw. The machined shaft-end dimensions and the support-unit drawing must also agree.

 

Product Description

Choose the pair according to the machine structure rather than selecting both ends independently. BK pairs with BF, EK with EF, and FK with FF. A fixed-side unit should not be replaced by its supported-side partner because their bearing functions and shaft-retaining arrangements are different.

 

Before final tightening, mount both units temporarily and check that their centerlines follow the ball screw axis. Misalignment between the housings can increase turning resistance and place unnecessary load on the screw and bearings. Shaft-end machining is available when dimensions are supplied on the customer drawing.

FAQ

1. Are BK and BF the same type of support unit?
They belong to the same base-mounted combination but perform different functions. BK is the fixed-side unit, while BF is installed at the supported end.

2. Which combination is suitable when mounting space is limited?
The compact EK and EF arrangement may suit a smaller installation envelope, but its dimensional drawing must still be checked against the available space and screw-end dimensions.

3. Can an FK unit be paired with a BF unit?
The standard combinations shown on this page are FK with FF, BK with BF, and EK with EF. Mixing families is not recommended unless the complete mounting and shaft-end design has been reviewed.

4. What should be provided for shaft-end machining?
Please provide the ball screw drawing, selected support models, shaft-end tolerances and required quantity.

5. Can you produce parts from our drawings?
We build to customer drawings under OEM/ODM, and accept orders as small as a single piece for standard sizes.
