SFU Flanged Nut Ball Screw
An SFU ball screw set consists of a threaded screw shaft and one matching flanged ball nut. The flange gives the nut a direct mounting face for connection to a moving table or bracket.

Product Details
Balls circulate through the nut while the screw turns, replacing the sliding contact found in an ordinary lead screw. The nut travels along the shaft with relatively low resistance and converts motor rotation into straight-line movement.
SFU model numbers identify the screw diameter and lead. SFU1605, for example, has a 16 mm nominal screw diameter and a 5 mm lead. The screw and nut must have the same model designation; similar-looking nuts with a different lead are not interchangeable.
Product Description
SFU ball screws are used in CNC routers, positioning tables, 3D printers and general automation equipment. Standard products use a single flanged nut. Axial clearance, accuracy grade, shaft length and end machining should be selected for the machine rather than assumed from the SFU name alone.
The basic set includes the screw shaft and matching nut. Nut housings, BK/BF supports, couplings and motor brackets are separate parts unless they are specifically listed in the quotation. Lubrication must be maintained during use, and the nut should not be removed from the shaft without a transfer sleeve because the balls may leave their return circuit.
We build to customer drawings under OEM/ODM, and accept orders as small as a single piece for standard sizes.
