DFU16 Double Nut Ball Screw
A 16 mm diameter ball screw assembly with a flanged double nut, designed for linear positioning systems that require greater axial rigidity than a standard single-nut arrangement.

Product Details
The DFU16 series combines a 16 mm screw shaft with two ball-nut sections in one flanged assembly. Its double-nut construction can be adjusted with preload to reduce axial clearance and increase rigidity.
Available DFU16 configurations include different leads and circulation arrangements. The complete model number must therefore be confirmed rather than ordering only by the DFU16 family name. Screw length, end machining, preload and accuracy requirements must also be specified.
Product Description
As the screw shaft rotates, balls circulate through the loaded raceways and return passages inside the nut, moving the double-nut assembly along the shaft. The rolling-contact mechanism provides lower friction than a conventional sliding lead screw.
DFU16 ball screws are suitable for CNC equipment, automated positioning systems, measuring machinery and other applications where direction changes can expose axial clearance. Correct lubrication, screw alignment and fixed-side support are necessary. The double nut improves rigidity but does not compensate for inaccurate mounting or an undersized screw shaft.
We build to customer drawings under OEM/ODM, and accept orders as small as a single piece for standard sizes.
