SFE1616 High Lead Ball Screw

Product Details

The SFE1616 designation identifies a nominal 16 mm screw diameter and 16 mm lead. Its single ball nut contains recirculating balls that roll between the nut and screw raceways, converting rotary input into linear movement with less friction than a sliding lead screw.

Product Description

The 16 mm lead produces 16 mm of theoretical linear travel for each complete screw revolution. This makes SFE1616 suitable for automation equipment, handling systems and positioning mechanisms where travel speed is more important than the mechanical advantage provided by a finer lead.

The assembly requires suitable end supports, a coupling and regular lubrication. Screw length, end machining, accuracy grade and permissible load must be selected for the actual machine. Do not identify this standard single-nut assembly as a rotating-nut ball screw unless the supplied drawing confirms a rotating-nut structure.

We build to customer drawings under OEM/ODM, and accept orders as small as a single piece for standard sizes.

Screw Nut

The SFE series uses a compact single-nut design with recirculating balls running between the screw and nut raceways. Rolling contact reduces friction and provides smoother motion than a conventional sliding screw.

Precision screw rod

SFE ball screws are available with relatively large leads. For the SFE1616 model, one screw revolution produces 16 mm of theoretical linear travel, making it suitable for equipment that needs faster positioning or transfer motion.

Dust seal maintain

Actual performance depends on the screw length, rotational speed, mounting accuracy, lubrication and end-support arrangement. Required accuracy grade, end machining and load capacity should be confirmed from the application drawing before production.
