DB DS Coupling Access Bracket
DB and DS brackets create a rigid bridge between a motor flange and a ball screw drive end. Their open sides leave the shaft coupling accessible after the motor has been installed.

Product Details
The bracket uses two upright mounting plates joined by an aluminum frame. One plate receives the motor pilot and bolt pattern. The opposite plate connects the bracket to the ball screw support assembly.
DB models cover frame references 42, 57, 86, 110 and 130. The DS range uses 40, 60, 80, 110 and 130 motor-side layouts. These numbers belong to different drawing families and should not be treated as interchangeable flange sizes.
The center cavity provides working room around the coupling. Its length must accommodate both shaft engagement depths, the required gap between the shaft ends and access to the coupling screws.
Product Description
Start with the motor drawing. Match its pilot diameter to dimension D and its bolt circle to PCD. The remaining D1–D6 dimensions describe the opposite plate and internal clearances.
Before final tightening, rotate the connected shafts by hand. The coupling should turn without being pulled toward either plate. If it changes shape as the motor bolts are tightened, the two mounting faces are not sharing the same axis.
This product is the connecting frame. The motor, flexible coupling, ball screw and fixed-end bearing unit are separate components unless they are included in the quotation.

FAQ
What is the practical difference between DB and DS?
They use different motor-pilot and mounting-hole layouts. Compare the complete motor flange drawing with the corresponding table row.
Can DB110 be replaced directly by DS110?
No. Their outside frame sizes are similar, but the listed pilot and bolt-circle dimensions are different.
Does the bracket contain the ball screw bearings?
Not as a standard assumption. A separate fixed-end support is required unless the ordered configuration specifically includes a bearing seat.
Why are the sides of the frame open?
The openings provide access for positioning the coupling and tightening its fastening screws.
Can the mounting faces be modified?
We build to customer drawings under OEM/ODM, and accept orders as small as a single piece for standard sizes.
