The bracket creates a fixed reference between the motor and the driven component. Its purpose is not only to hold the motor, but also to maintain the relative position required for the coupling between two rotating shafts.

 

The black surface treatment provides a finished appearance for the aluminum alloy body. Different bracket versions are available for different motor frame sizes, including DB and DS series configurations.

 

Motor replacement should not be based only on the outside dimensions of the bracket. The motor frame, mounting hole pattern, pilot diameter, shaft position and coupling clearance all affect whether the assembly can be installed correctly.

 

Product Description

A motor bracket works together with the coupling and driven shaft support. If the motor mounting position is shifted, the coupling may operate with continuous offset, increasing vibration and placing additional stress on the connected components.

 

During installation, first secure the bracket to the machine structure, then check the relationship between the motor shaft and the driven shaft before final tightening. The coupling should not be used to pull two misaligned shafts into position.

 

When replacing an existing bracket, record the original motor model, mounting hole arrangement, centre position and available installation space. A visually similar bracket may still place the motor shaft at a different height or distance.

 

The correct bracket selection depends on the motor size, connection method and complete drive layout rather than the bracket appearance alone.

No. The bracket is a mechanical mounting component. The motor and coupling are selected separately.
