An SP series hollow linear shaft with a customizable internal diameter and wall thickness for guided linear-motion assemblies.

Product Details
The SP series retains the cylindrical outer running surface of a linear shaft while using a hollow internal structure. It is designed to work with compatible linear bearings as a guide for straight-line travel.
The internal diameter and wall thickness can be produced according to the required shaft size and machine design. Outer diameter, overall length, and end machining must also be defined for each order.
Product Description
SP hollow shafts can reduce material and overall shaft weight compared with a solid shaft of the same outside diameter. However, wall thickness affects stiffness, deflection, and suitability for the applied load, so the bore cannot be selected independently of the outside diameter and support spacing.
Before production, confirm the outside diameter, internal diameter, wall thickness, length, outer-diameter tolerance, straightness, surface hardness, surface finish, and required end features. Material and heat-treatment specifications should only be stated when they are included in the selected specification or customer drawing.
We build to customer drawings under OEM/ODM, and accept orders as small as a single piece for standard sizes.
