GCR15 Precision Linear Shaft

Precision grade is the parameter that matters most here - different grades suit different accuracy requirements, and rather than defaulting everyone to the tightest (and most expensive) grade, send us your application and we'll recommend the grade that actually fits.

The shaft's outer surface is what determines both fit and wear resistance: outer diameter is held to guaranteed size accuracy for a reliable press-fit or sliding fit with your bearing, and the surface finish is optimized for wear resistance and a clean appearance rather than just cosmetic polish. On the precision side, low surface roughness combined with tightly controlled roundness and straightness is what keeps motion stable and repeatable rather than introducing wobble over the shaft's length.

 

Diameters run from 5mm to 100mm, with lengths up to 600mm as standard - longer or custom lengths are machined to order. Beyond standard turning, we handle threading, coaxial hole drilling and tapping, radial hole drilling and tapping, and reduced-diameter step sections, all finished after heat treatment and hard chrome plating so the machining doesn't compromise the shaft's final precision.

We accept orders as small as a single piece for standard sizes. Packaging is standard bulk in PE bags inside plywood cartons, with custom packaging available on request.
