Each EGH assembly consists of a low-profile square carriage running on a matching profiled rail. Recirculating balls carry the load between the block and the rail while the end components return the balls through the carriage.

 

The SA and CA suffixes identify different carriage lengths. SA blocks have a shorter body and two top mounting positions. CA blocks use a longer body with four mounting positions and provide higher catalog load and moment ratings within the same rail size.

 

Product Description

EGH guides are used beneath moving plates, fixtures and machine tables where installation height matters. The compact block shape is suitable for inspection equipment, electronic assembly machines, packaging mechanisms and other automated axes.

 

The rail size and block length should be chosen together. A CA block may be preferable when the carriage must resist a larger overturning moment, while an SA block leaves more usable rail travel in a restricted space.

 

Mounting surfaces should be flat and free from raised edges or debris. Rail alignment, bolt tightening order and lubrication directly affect running resistance and service life. EGH and EGW blocks must not be treated as interchangeable because their mounting widths and flange arrangements are different.

FAQ

1 What is the difference between EGH SA and EGH CA blocks

SA is the shorter carriage configuration. CA has a longer body and additional top mounting positions, with higher load and moment ratings for the corresponding rail size.

2 Can an EGH block run on an EGW rail

Do not select components by rail width alone. The complete series, size, carriage form and dimensional drawing must match before a block or rail is replaced.

3 Can the guide rail length be customized

We build to customer drawings under OEM/ODM, and accept orders as small as a single piece for standard sizes.

4 What information is required for selection

Provide the complete EGH model, rail length, number of blocks, mounting orientation, working load and expected moments. Accuracy and preload requirements should also be stated.

5 How should the guideway be installed

Clean the mounting surfaces first, position the reference sides correctly and tighten the rail bolts in sequence. Avoid forcing a block onto a rail that is misaligned or damaged at the end.
