Product Description

This flexible jaw coupling connects a driving shaft to a driven shaft through two metal hubs and an intermediate elastomer. The elastomer cushions shock and vibration during operation while compensating for limited radial, angular, and axial misalignment between the connected shafts.

 

The coupling provides consistent transmission characteristics in both clockwise and counterclockwise rotation. Three elastomer hardness options are available, allowing the coupling response to be matched to different torque, vibration, and positioning requirements.

 

The hubs are secured to the shafts by clamping screws for straightforward installation and removal. Aluminum alloy versions provide lower rotating mass and an oxidation-treated surface, while stainless steel versions are available for applications requiring different strength or environmental resistance characteristics.

 

Coupling size should be selected according to the required bore diameters, operating torque, rotational speed, shaft misalignment, and working environment. The operating limits of the selected size and elastomer grade should be confirmed before installation.
