Product Details
The GS coupling uses high-strength aluminum alloy hubs connected by a 304 stainless steel diaphragm. Its internal clamping structure holds the shafts without introducing the clearance associated with loose mechanical connections.
The metal diaphragm provides high torsional rigidity and allows accurate transmission in both forward and reverse rotation. Its low-inertia construction is suited to servo motors, stepper motors, ball screws, and compact positioning mechanisms.
Product Description
Unlike an elastomer coupling, this design transmits torque through a flexible metal diaphragm and does not require lubrication. The diaphragm accommodates limited angular and axial installation deviation while maintaining responsive shaft control.
Because this is a single-diaphragm design, it should not be selected to correct substantial parallel shaft offset. Bore diameters, shaft fit, rated torque, maximum speed, allowable deviation, and clamping torque must be checked against the selected GS model before installation.
We build to customer drawings under OEM/ODM, and accept orders as small as a single piece for standard sizes.
