Working Principle
When the lead screw rotates, the balls roll between the raceways of the lead screw and nut, converting rotational motion into linear motion of the nut (or vice versa). Utilising rolling friction rather than sliding friction enables transmission efficiency exceeding 90%, significantly surpassing the 30-50% efficiency typical of conventional trapezoidal lead screws.
