FK FF Endplate Bearing Pair

Product Details

FK establishes the axial reference at the driven end of the ball screw. Its drawing includes the shaft journal, bearing position and locknut-side space required beyond the mounting plate.

 

FF carries the opposite journal through a radial bearing. It keeps the shaft supported without duplicating the axial constraint created by the FK unit.

 

Both housings use a four-hole flange pattern. The endplate must accommodate the outside register diameter, bolt-circle diameter and counterbore dimensions shown for the selected model.

 

Product Description

Do not create a pair simply by repeating the same suffix number. For example, FK8 and FF10 share the 28 mm register diameter, 35 mm bolt circle and 35 mm flange width shown in the page drawing. FK10 and FF12 share the next 34 mm register and 42 mm mounting pattern.

 

This difference occurs because the two ends of one ball screw can use different journal diameters. The FK and FF designations therefore follow their own bearing-side dimensions.

 

Machine the endplates and both screw journals from the same approved drawing. Leave additional space behind the FK side for the locknut and motor coupling.

FAQ

Must the FK and FF numbers be identical?

No. Use the shaft-end and housing dimensions in the drawing. Some compatible mounting patterns carry different FK and FF numbers.

Which dimensions define the endplate opening?

Use Dg6 for the housing register and PCD, X, Y and Z for the mounting-hole arrangement.

Can the FF unit replace the FK unit?

No. FF provides supported-end radial location and does not perform the same axial locating function as FK.

Where is the motor coupling installed?

It is fitted beyond the FK unit at the driven end of the ball screw.

Can the shaft ends and endplates be made from one drawing?

We build to customer drawings under OEM/ODM, and accept orders as small as a single piece for standard sizes.
