Product Details

The eye contains a spherical inner ring. A pin passes through its bore, while the threaded shank screws into the mating rod or mounting component.

 

The external thread allows the installed center distance to be adjusted before the shank is secured with a locknut. Sufficient thread engagement must remain inside the mating part after adjustment.

 

Left-hand and right-hand threads are available for rod-end constructions. Thread direction must be written on the order, particularly when two opposite-thread joints are used on the same adjustable link.

 

Product Description

The original page lists steel-on-steel, steel-on-bronze and several steel-on-PTFE sliding-contact options. These constructions have different lubrication and wear characteristics, so the required contact pair must appear in the quotation.

 

Stainless steel, chrome steel and carbon steel are shown as available material choices rather than one fixed POSA15 specification. P5 and P6 are also listed as selectable precision grades.

 

During assembly, apply tightening force to the shank or locknut. Do not use the bearing eye as a lever, as this can damage the housing or alter its alignment with the linkage.
