PHS10 Bronze Lined Rod End
PHS10 is a greaseable female-thread rod end built around a 10 mm spherical bore and an M10 × 1.5 internal connection. A bronze liner separates the hardened inner ring from the housing, while the side lubrication point provides access for routine servicing.
Description

Product Details
The PHS10 drawing lists a 10 mm bore, 14 mm ball width and 26 mm maximum head diameter. Its centre height is 43 mm, measured from the spherical bore centre to the end of the rod-end body.
An M10 × 1.5 female thread is machined inside the shank. This allows the rod end to screw onto a matching externally threaded linkage and permits the installed length to be adjusted before locking.
The product image shows a zinc-plated steel housing with a side grease nipple. The page also lists stainless steel as an available material option, but it should be requested separately rather than assumed from the URL.
Product Description
PHS10 uses sliding spherical contact rather than a recirculating-ball structure. The inner ring can tilt inside the lined housing, allowing the connected rod to change angle while transmitting load through the joint.
The published maximum articulation angle is 14 degrees. The surrounding bracket, bolt head and linkage must leave enough clearance for this movement; otherwise, the body may contact the mounting hardware before the bearing reaches its stated angle.
Thread direction also requires confirmation. The original table notes that an "L" suffix is added when a left-hand thread is required. Standard and left-hand versions should not be mixed in the same replacement order.
Position the grease nipple where it remains accessible after assembly. If surrounding components block the lubrication point, the joint may have to be removed for servicing.
The page states that PHS10 is mainly intended for radial loading and can accept a moderate axial component. Final selection should still consider the direction of force, oscillation angle and frequency of movement.

FAQ
Is every PHS10 on this page made entirely from stainless steel?
No. The main product shown has a zinc-plated steel body. Stainless steel is listed as an optional version and must be confirmed when ordering.
Does PHS10 have a male or female thread?
It has an M10 × 1.5 internal female thread.
Can a left-hand thread be supplied?
Yes. The original table identifies left-hand threaded versions by adding an "L" suffix to the designation.
Why must the grease nipple position be checked?
The nipple needs enough surrounding space for maintenance access after the rod end is installed.
Can PHS10 be used as a continuously rotating bearing?
It is primarily intended for pivoting and oscillating linkage movement, not continuous high-speed rotation.
Can the material or thread configuration follow a drawing?
We build to customer drawings under OEM/ODM, and accept orders as small as a single piece for standard sizes.
