Product Details

The ball screw runs through the centre of the base. One profile rail is installed on each side, placing the screw between the two guided support lines rather than asking the screw to guide the carriage by itself.

 

The carriage plate spans both rails and provides multiple threaded mounting positions. Tooling can be attached directly to this plate, but mounting-bolt length must be checked. A bolt that projects beneath the carriage may enter the screw or rail clearance area.

 

This version is photographed without a protective top cover. The screw, rails, bearing support and end components remain visible for inspection and lubrication. Where chips, grinding dust or coolant are present, an additional bellows or enclosure should be considered.

 

Product Description

The distance between the two rails helps the carriage resist an offset load. For this reason, selection should include the payload's centre-of-gravity position, not only its total mass. A tall fixture or a part hanging beyond the edge of the table can create a substantial overturning moment even when its weight appears acceptable.

 

Black contact buffers are visible near the end structure. They provide physical protection at the travel boundary but should not be used as the normal stopping point. Deceleration, limit sensing and overtravel protection belong to the completed control system.

 

The motor-side plate has a centred locating opening, but no motor is installed in the product photographs. Motor flange, pilot, shaft diameter and coupling arrangement must be confirmed before the drive package is assembled.

FAQ

Why are two rails used instead of one?

They support the wide carriage on both sides and provide greater resistance to moments produced by offset tooling or payloads.

Can any screw be used in the carriage mounting holes?

No. Thread size and engagement length must be correct, and the fastener must not project into the internal travel space.

Are the black end buffers travel switches?

No. They are physical contact parts. Limit sensors and controlled deceleration should be provided separately.

Can the stage work where metal chips are present?

Only with suitable protection. The photographed open construction leaves the ball screw and rail surfaces exposed.

Is the motor supplied with the stage?

The photographs show the motor mounting interface but no motor. The required motor and coupling must be confirmed in the quotation.

Can the stroke or mounting interface be customized?

We build to customer drawings under OEM/ODM, and accept orders as small as a single piece for standard sizes.
