Mechanical Interface

The axis contains the ball screw, carriage and linear guidance required for one-direction movement. A motor connects to the screw through the drive-end interface.

 

Motor choice begins with the flange pattern and shaft dimensions. Frame size alone does not define the shaft diameter, pilot, bolt spacing or coupling bore.

 

The selected coupling must accept the motor shaft at one end and the machined screw journal at the other. Its outside diameter must also fit inside the available drive-end space.

 

Electrical Integration

A stepper motor requires a compatible stepper driver. A servo version additionally depends on the encoder connection and the drive settings used by the control system.

 

Home and end-limit sensors are not identified in the original page data. If they are required, the inquiry should state the sensor quantity, supply voltage, NPN or PNP output, connector type and preferred cable exit.
