Product Details

The SCE16VUU combines a compact housing with an LME16UU linear ball bearing for use on a 16 mm metric shaft. Its shortened body reduces the space required along the direction of travel while retaining a flat mounting surface for attachment to a moving plate or machine component.

 

Recirculating balls roll between the bearing and shaft to provide guided linear movement. Seals at the bearing ends help limit the entry of ordinary dust and retain lubricant during operation.

This unit is suitable for compact CNC equipment, 3D printers, packaging machinery, handling devices, and other mechanisms that use supported round shafts. It is a housed linear bearing unit rather than a profiled linear guide block, so it must be paired with a correctly sized round shaft.

 

Shaft diameter, hardness, surface finish, straightness, mounting alignment, load direction, and lubrication affect running quality and service life. The SCE16VUU should not be replaced with the longer SCE16UU without checking the available mounting length and hole arrangement.
