SBR TBR Supported Rail Assembly

 

Technical Description

The assembly combines a round shaft, continuous rail support and matching linear bearing blocks. Supporting the shaft along its length reduces deflection compared with a shaft held only at its ends, making the system suitable for longer travel and moderate to heavy working loads.

 

SBR and TBR are separate mounting configurations. Their rail profiles, block housings and installation dimensions are different, so components should be ordered from the same corresponding series. Selection depends on the series, shaft diameter, rail length, number of blocks and mounting-hole arrangement.

 

The rail should be installed on a flat base. When two rails are used together, their spacing and parallelism must be set correctly to avoid block binding and uneven bearing load.

 

We build to customer drawings under OEM/ODM, and accept orders as small as a single piece for standard sizes.

A: Yes. The system can be supplied as a complete assembly or as separate rails, shafts and matching blocks.

Q: Can an SBR block be installed on a TBR rail?
A: No. SBR and TBR use different housing profiles and installation dimensions. The rail and block must belong to the same compatible series.

Q: What information is required before ordering?
A: Please provide the required series, shaft diameter, rail length, block quantity and mounting dimensions.

Q: Can the rail length be made according to a drawing?
A: Yes. Custom dimensions can be produced when the requested length and mounting arrangement are confirmed before production.

Q: How many blocks should be installed on one rail?
A: The quantity depends on the supported load, carriage dimensions and moment load. One or more blocks may be used on each rail according to the machine design.
