LMK Compact Square Flange Bushing
The LMK series combines a short linear ball bushing with a square four-hole flange, allowing a moving plate to be connected directly to a round-shaft guidance system.

The easiest way to identify an LMK unit is to examine its mounting end. It has a square plate with one fastening hole near each corner and a round bearing body extending from the opposite side.
The shaft opening identifies the nominal size, but it does not confirm the complete model. A correct replacement must also reproduce the outside body diameter, square plate size, screw-hole spacing and installed length of the removed part.
Internally, the bearing contains retained steel balls that return through enclosed passages as the unit moves. Seals at the shaft openings help keep lubricant inside and reduce the entry of loose particles.
Product Description
Before installation, slide the bearing onto a clean section of the intended shaft by hand. It should pass over the shaft without hammering or using the mounting screws to generate force. Resistance at this stage may indicate an incorrect size, a damaged shaft edge or contamination inside the bearing.
After the unit is attached to the carriage plate, move the plate through its complete usable stroke before connecting the drive. The movement should not become noticeably tighter near one end. A change in resistance usually points to shaft position, support spacing or plate alignment rather than a need to tighten the bearing further.
The short LMK construction saves installation depth, but it also provides less longitudinal separation than an extended flange model. The choice between short and long versions should follow the available space and the actual carriage arrangement.
