Product Details
The LMxxLUU series uses recirculating balls to produce linear movement along a cylindrical shaft. In the designation, "xx" represents the nominal shaft diameter, while "L" identifies the longer body configuration. "UU" indicates sealing at both ends of the bearing.
Compared with a standard LMxxUU bearing of the same bore size, the extended body provides a longer guiding section. This can improve support against applied moments when the bearing is correctly installed inside a suitable housing.
Product Description
LMxxLUU bearings are used in measuring equipment, printers, automated machinery, cutting systems, machine tools, and other mechanisms requiring repeated straight-line travel. They must be installed in a housing and paired with a hardened, accurately finished round shaft of the correct diameter.
These bearings are not intended to absorb severe impact loads or correct poor shaft alignment. Bore size, housing fit, shaft tolerance, surface hardness, straightness, load direction, travel speed, lubrication, and operating environment should be checked before selection. Installing two bearings out of alignment can increase noise and running resistance.
