This cylindrical linear bearing uses recirculating steel balls to reduce sliding resistance between the bearing and a round linear shaft. Its extended body distinguishes it from the standard-length LM type and provides a longer supporting section within the same bearing assembly.

The bearing size must match the nominal shaft diameter. Depending on the selected model, sealed versions can help retain lubricant and reduce the entry of dust. Confirm the exact model, outside diameter, overall length and seal arrangement before ordering.

 

Product Description

As the bearing travels along the shaft, the internal balls circulate through closed return paths to produce smooth linear movement. The longer housing supports the shaft over a greater axial distance, making this type suitable for equipment requiring additional guidance stability without changing to a profiled linear guide.

 

Typical applications include printing machinery, packaging equipment, measuring devices, automated mechanisms and other light to moderate-load linear motion assemblies. Installation requires a straight, properly aligned and suitably finished shaft. The bearing should not be used to compensate for major alignment errors or withstand heavy impact loading.
