Product Details
The LMF series combines a cylindrical linear ball bearing with a round mounting flange. Recirculating steel balls roll along a matching cylindrical shaft, allowing the attached component to travel in a straight line with lower friction than a plain sliding bushing.
Available models include LMF6UU, LMF8UU, LMF10UU, LMF12UU, LMF13UU, LMF16UU, LMF20UU, LMF25UU, LMF30UU, LMF35UU, LMF40UU, LMF50UU, and LMF60UU. The number in the designation corresponds to the nominal shaft diameter in millimetres.
Product Description
The round flange allows the bearing to be mounted against a flat machine surface without using a separate bearing housing. Typical applications include compact CNC equipment, automated machinery, measuring devices, packaging systems, and other mechanisms built around round linear shafts.
LMF bearings provide linear travel rather than rotary shaft support. Shaft diameter, hardness, surface finish, straightness, flange dimensions, mounting alignment, load direction, and lubrication must be checked before installation. Misalignment between multiple bearings can increase resistance and shorten service life.
