An SFY rolled-thread ball screw with a high-lead design for applications that require greater linear travel from each screw revolution.

Product Details
The SFY series converts rotary input into linear movement through recirculating balls running between the screw shaft and matching nut. Its thread is produced by a rolling process rather than precision grinding.
SFY models are offered with leads equal to or greater than their nominal screw diameter, depending on the selected size. This high-lead arrangement allows faster linear travel at a given rotational speed.
Product Description
SFY ball screws are used in automated machinery, positioning equipment, handling systems, and other mechanisms where travel speed is more important than very fine movement per motor revolution.
A larger lead also reduces mechanical advantage and changes the motor torque and positioning resolution required by the system. Screw diameter, lead, total length, threaded length, nut dimensions, accuracy grade, axial load, rotational speed, support arrangement, and end machining must therefore be confirmed before production. A rolled SFY screw should not be described as a precision-ground ball screw.
We build to customer drawings under OEM/ODM, and accept orders as small as a single piece for standard sizes.
