A compact flange-mounted support pair for locating and supporting the machined ends of a small ball screw assembly.

Product Details
The FK6 and FF6 units perform different functions within the same ball screw installation. FK6 is the fixed-side unit, while FF6 is the support-side unit.
The FK6 fixed side uses an angular-contact bearing arrangement to locate the screw axially and support thrust generated during operation. The FF6 side supports the opposite journal radially while allowing the assembly to accommodate minor axial expansion.
Product Description
FK6 is normally installed near the motor or coupling end of the screw. FF6 is mounted at the opposite end to maintain shaft alignment without constraining both ends axially.
These compact flange-type supports are suitable for small CNC mechanisms, positioning stages, automation equipment and other ball screw drives with limited mounting space. The screw-end journal dimensions must match the FK6 and FF6 bearing bores and retaining components. Incorrect end machining or support alignment can cause excessive running resistance, vibration or premature bearing wear.
We build to customer drawings under OEM/ODM, and accept orders as small as a single piece for standard sizes.
