This support is normally installed in pairs to hold a round guide shaft in linear-motion equipment, measuring devices, small CNC mechanisms and automation assemblies. Its raised mounting position leaves clearance for closed linear bearings to travel along the shaft.Both SK16 supports should be fixed to a flat surface and aligned on the same centerline before the clamp screws are fully tightened.

Misaligned supports can bend the shaft and increase resistance in the linear bearings. SK16 fixes the shaft in place; it does not contain rolling elements and should not be described as a linear bearing.

Product Details

The SK16 uses a vertical pedestal structure with base mounting holes and a split bore. Tightening the clamp screw secures the 16 mm shaft without requiring additional machining on the shaft end.
