Product Details
The support holds the end of a linear shaft through a split clamping section. Tightening the clamp screw closes the bore around the shaft, allowing it to be secured without drilling or threading the shaft itself.
Product Description
This type of support is used with round shafts in linear-motion equipment, positioning mechanisms, measuring devices and compact automation systems. Its mounting holes fasten the block to the machine base, while the clamping bore keeps the shaft from shifting during operation.
The bore diameter must match the shaft diameter. Before final tightening, both supports should be aligned on the same centerline to avoid bending the shaft or increasing resistance in the linear bearings. It is intended to secure the shaft and does not replace a linear bearing or a fully supported shaft rail.
