SHF Split Clamp Support
Set the shaft in position first, then tighten the clamp. That's the whole idea behind this support's split-flange design: instead of pressing a fixed bore against the shaft during assembly, the slotted body closes around it after the position is already right, then locks there with a single clamp screw.

Technical Description
An aluminum alloy body with a slotted section does the clamping here: the shaft passes through the center bore, and turning the clamp screw closes that slot down around it. Mounting holes in the flange face bolt the whole thing to the machine frame. Seven sizes are available, SHF08 through SHF25, with the number matching the shaft diameter in millimeters directly.
Used in pairs at either end of a shaft, this style suits small machines, test rigs, printers, and automation assemblies where the shaft just needs to be held steady at both ends. What it won't do is keep a long shaft from sagging in the middle; end supports only anchor the endpoints, so a shaft that's long or carrying real load needs a supported rail running its length instead, not just a pair of clamps at the tips. Getting the mounting faces level and aligned before the clamp screws go tight matters more than it sounds like it should, since a misaligned pair puts the shaft under a slight bend from the moment it's installed.
