Product Details

The SHF series is a flange-style support for mounting round linear shafts. Its aluminum-alloy body has two base mounting holes and a split clamping section that secures the shaft after the clamp screw is tightened.

 

SHF model numbers correspond to the nominal shaft diameter. Common sizes include SHF3A through SHF60A. Check the shaft bore, mounting-hole spacing, base height and overall dimensions before selecting a model.

 

Product Description

SHF supports are normally installed at the ends of a round shaft and fastened to a machine frame or mounting plate. Unlike a linear bearing, the support does not travel along the shaft and does not contain circulating balls. Its purpose is to hold the shaft in a fixed position.

 

The compact flange construction is suitable for automation equipment, measuring devices, light machinery and other round-shaft linear motion assemblies. Correct positioning of paired supports is important because mounting misalignment can bend the shaft or interfere with bearing movement.
