Machined from chrome steel with a silver finish and CE certification, this is the SHF16 size in the SHF pillow-block family - sized to clamp a 16mm shaft. The block's job is purely structural: it doesn't move, and it isn't meant to. Everything downstream of it (the shaft's straightness, the smoothness of whatever's riding on it) depends on how rigidly this support holds its position.
