The POS series combines a spherical inner ring with an externally threaded housing. The male thread screws directly into a linkage or mounting component, while the spherical bearing allows the connected parts to pivot when their axes are not perfectly aligned.
Product Description
POS rod ends are used in control mechanisms, automation equipment, cylinders and other reciprocating linkages. They are mainly selected for radial loading, although limited axial load may be permitted depending on the exact size and bearing construction.
The POS designation refers to a male-threaded rod end; it should not be described as a female-threaded SI or PHS type. Bore size, thread size, thread direction, allowable angle, load rating and lubrication method must be confirmed for the selected model before ordering.
