The unit in these photos was still on the assembly bench when the pictures were taken. The pinion was already sitting against the rack, with the carriage running on two Linear Guide rails. It belongs to a Turkish order for an HGHS210F CNC Linear Stage and will go out with our sea cargo once the remaining assembly work is finished.
This version uses a rack and pinion drive rather than a Ball Screw. The rack runs along the base while the gear moves with the carriage, so the drive follows the platform through the stroke. On the HGHS210F series, working travel can be made from 100 mm up to 1600 mm, depending on the machine layout.
The two Linear Guide rails in the photos carry the aluminium platform on either side of the rack. That arrangement keeps the drive in the centre and leaves a wide surface on top for the customer's tooling or fixture. A CNC Linear Stage built this way can be used on transfer equipment, machine loading systems, assembly lines and other single-axis jobs where the platform has to cover a longer working distance.
Turkey has a large machinery manufacturing base, with local companies supplying equipment into automotive, textiles, construction, agriculture, electronics and other industries. Official industry data puts more than 59,000 local and international companies in the country's machinery sector, so there is a broad mix of equipment builders working on both standard and special-purpose machines.
This stage is still open in the photos, which makes the rack, pinion and guide arrangement easy to see. Once the unit is finished, the moving section will be fixed for packing rather than left free to run along the base inside the wooden case. The order will travel to Turkey by sea.
HGHS210F does not have to follow one fixed layout. Stroke length, mounting dimensions and motor arrangement can be discussed before production, and we also take CNC Linear Stage orders from customer drawings when the machine needs a different setup.
