This Ball Screw and Linear Guide set was being prepared in the workshop this week for a customer in France. The screw was matched with two guide rails and blocks to form the main moving section of the machine. After packing, the components will travel to France by sea.
The customer ordered the drive and guiding parts together instead of preparing each section separately. For this type of machine structure, the Ball Screw works with the Linear Guide rails and blocks as one moving system. The screw provides the movement, while the guide system carries the platform during operation.
This kind of combination appears in many CNC machines, automation equipment and custom-built machines. A lot of machine builders prefer to prepare the main motion parts together because the installation work is easier when the drive and support sections are matched from the beginning.
France has many companies building industrial equipment for different applications. From packaging machines to special production equipment, local manufacturers often work with their own machine designs and select standard motion parts that can be adapted into those systems.
After the assembly check, the parts will be packed together for sea transportation. Keeping the Ball Screw and Linear Guide components in one package also makes it easier for the customer to identify and install the axis after receiving the shipment.
Standard sizes cover many applications, but machine projects are not always the same. We also prepare different lengths, mounting arrangements and custom combinations based on customer drawings when a standard configuration does not fit the equipment.
