Product Details
The carriage spans the upper section of the aluminum base. Its mounting surface contains multiple prepared holes for attaching tooling, fixtures or another motion axis.
Below the carriage, the ball nut is secured inside a separate metal housing. Rotation of the screw moves this complete nut-and-carriage assembly along the module.
The drive screw remains visible from above. This provides direct access during assembly and maintenance, but also leaves the transmission exposed to chips, dust and accidental contact.
A motor plate is positioned at one end of the base. The opposite end contains the bearing support that locates the screw. Motor, coupling and electrical components should be confirmed separately.
Product Description
The open construction is useful when maintenance access is more important than an integrated upper cover. Lubrication condition, screw surface and nut attachment can be inspected without removing a long protective panel.
This same access creates an installation requirement: the surrounding machine must provide its own protection where contamination or operator contact is possible. A guard should leave enough clearance for the carriage to complete its full movement.
The carriage contains several mounting-hole groups rather than one universal bolt pattern. Tooling should be attached using the dimensions shown on the approved drawing. Drilling additional holes without checking the internal nut and guide positions may damage the stage.
Before the motor is connected, the carriage should move through its travel without a tight point. Resistance at one section may indicate incorrect base mounting, contamination, damaged screw surfaces or misalignment between the screw supports.

Is the ball screw protected by a complete upper cover?
No complete cover is shown. External guarding may be required according to the working environment and machine-safety design.
Can tooling holes be added to the carriage?
Only after checking the carriage and nut-housing drawing. Unplanned drilling may interfere with internal components.
Should the carriage be difficult to move before the motor is installed?
No. Abnormal resistance should be investigated before commissioning rather than overcome with a larger motor.
Are the motor and coupling included?
They should be treated as separate components unless the quotation specifically includes them.
