SBRS140K Supported Rail Screw Stage
The SBRS140K carries its mounting plate on four SBR20UU bearing blocks. Beneath the plate are two fully supported SBR20 shafts and a Φ20 C7 ball screw. The available working travel starts at 100 mm and extends to 1800 mm.
Description
Product Details
When this unit is quoted, the first figure we check is the available machine length. The stage body needs 210 mm more than its working travel. A machine requiring 800 mm of movement must therefore leave at least 1010 mm for dimension A, before allowing space for the motor and surrounding parts.
The plate runs on four SBR20UU blocks distributed across two supported SBR20 shafts. A Φ20 C7 ball screw sits between the rails and provides the drive. This is an exposed assembly, so the screw, blocks and mounting points remain accessible after installation.
One unit moves in one direction only. The photographs showing crossed stages illustrate a possible assembly method; they do not mean that two stages are included under one SBRS140K model number.
Product Description
Three screw leads are listed for this model. They should be treated as separate working configurations rather than three speed settings on the same stage. Changing the lead changes the stated speed and load limits, so the final choice must be made before production.
The ±0.03 mm specification describes how closely the table returns to a previously commanded position. It does not describe every source of error in the completed machine. Frame rigidity, mounting condition, motor control and the attached load can all affect the final movement result.
Because the rails and screw are not enclosed, this unit is better placed in a reasonably clean area of the machine. An external cover should be planned when the axis will sit below cutting tools or near loose dust and liquid.
The supplied motor interface can be prepared for the listed stepper or servo sizes. Motor torque still needs to be checked against the selected lead, mounting direction and moving weight.

FAQ
1. Will an 1800 mm stroke fit inside a 1900 mm machine space?
No. Dimension A would already be 2010 mm, and additional clearance is still needed for the motor and installation.
2. Are two crossed stages included?
No. The model table describes one SBRS140K. A crossed arrangement requires two separately selected units and the corresponding connection structure.
3. Can the fastest lead be selected for every application?
No. The 20 mm lead has the highest listed speed but the lowest published load limit. Lead choice must follow the actual moving weight and installation direction.
4. What should be shown on a replacement axis drawing?
Please mark the required travel, available overall length, table connection points, mounting direction and motor position. These dimensions are more useful than providing the old model name alone.
5. Is one piece available?
We build to customer drawings under OEM/ODM, and accept orders as small as a single piece for standard sizes.
About Us
For SBRS140K orders, Lishui Guangyuan checks the requested travel, lead, load direction and motor connection against the customer's installation drawing. The same workshop also manufactures ball screws, linear guides, shafts and other parts used in linear motion assemblies.
