Product Details

The 25 mm diameter is the key matching dimension: the bearing, housing, and shaft support must all be selected for the same shaft size. The shaft has a chrome-plated, case-hardened working surface and is supplied in customer-specified lengths.

 

Plain cut ends are suitable for clamped supports. Where the shaft connects directly to a frame or another component, the ends can instead be threaded, drilled, stepped, or reduced from a drawing.

 

Product Description

This product acts as the running track for a round linear bearing. In service, the shaft normally remains fixed while the bearing housing moves along it. It can be used in packaging equipment, machine tools, transfer mechanisms, and other machinery built around straight-line travel.

 

A 25 mm diameter alone does not determine whether the shaft is suitable for a particular machine. Long spans and concentrated loads can produce noticeable bending, so the usable length and support layout should be considered together.
