Technical Description

 

What It Is, and What It Isn't

Circulating steel balls between the carriage and rail raceways replace sliding contact with rolling contact, and the steel body gives the carriage enough rigidity to serve as a mounting platform for moving machine components. What it isn't: a motor, a limit switch, or a buffer mechanism. Those belong to the machine built around it, not to the block itself - worth saying plainly, because a block that "just" guides motion sometimes gets expected to do more than that.

 

Confirm Before You Order

Rail series, nominal size, block dimensions, preload class, and accuracy grade all need confirming before an order goes through - appearance alone doesn't tell you whether this block will actually fit an existing rail. We won't describe it as a drop-in replacement for every major brand's guide block without checking the actual dimensions first; some will match, some won't, and the only way to know is to compare specs.

 

Running Conditions

As the carriage travels, balls circulate through internal return paths to keep supporting the load over repeated cycles, and end seals limit dust entry while holding lubricant near the raceways. Stable operation still depends on a flat mounting surface, correctly aligned rail, and regular lubrication - get any of those wrong and the block's own precision won't save the result. Used in automation machinery, CNC equipment, robotic mechanisms, and positioning systems.
