Working Principle for needle roller bearing

 

When the shaft rotates, the inner ring rotates with it and drives the rolling body and cage to rotate together. Rolling body rolling between the inner and outer rings, not only around its own axis of rotation, but also along the inner and outer ring raceway rotation, thus realizing the force transfer and rolling.This rolling friction reduces frictional losses and enables the bearing to support rotary motion efficiently. The role of the cage is to maintain the position between the rolling elements, to prevent skewing and mutual collision, and to ensure that the rolling elements can be evenly distributed along the raceway.
