1. No preload or insufficient preload
When the ball screw is placed vertically, the nut will rotate and slide due to its own weight: the screw without preload will have a certain gap, so it can only be used for machines with lower operating resistance, but as long as the concern is There is no requirement for positioning accuracy.

2. The torsional displacement is too large
(1) Steel balls, nuts, screw shafts with improper heat treatment, too thin hardened layer, uneven hardness distribution, or too soft material. The standard hardnesses are: hrc62~66, hrc58~62, hrc56~62.
(2) Improper design-the smaller the slenderness ratio, the higher the rigidity, and the limit of the slenderness ratio must be below 80. If the slenderness ratio is too large, the screw shaft will be due to its own weight. Produce sagging.
3. Improper selection of support bearings
Generally, ball screws must be matched with angular bearings, especially bearings with high pressure angle design as the best choice: when the ball screw bears axial load, the general deep groove bearing will produce a certain amount of axial clearance Therefore, deep groove bearings are not suitable for use.
