Why Is Lubricant Added To Linear Guide Rail？

Good lubrication function must be provided when using linear guide rails. If it is used in the state of no lubrication, the rolling part will wear away faster and the service life will be shortened.

Lubricant can reduce the friction between moving parts, thus preventing coking and reducing wear, forming an oil film on the rolling surface to reduce the stress acting on the surface, prolonging the rolling fatigue life, and covering the oil film on the metal surface to prevent rust.

The purpose of adding lubricant to the linear guide rail is to prevent the metal contact between the track surface and the rolling elements inside the linear guide rail, reduce friction and wear, and prevent heating and sintering. When the rail surface and the rolling contact surface of the roller form sufficient oil film, it also has the effect of reducing the contact stress caused by load.
