2. Different transmission speeds
The ball screw is rolling friction, and the trapezoidal screw is sliding friction. The temperature rise of the former is much lower than that of the latter when working, so under normal circumstances, it can undertake the task of high-speed transmission.

The surface damage of rolling friction is much smaller than that of sliding friction. Therefore, when the conditions of cleaning and lubrication are met, the maintenance life of the ball screw is much higher than that of the trapezoidal screw.
