A batch of HG series linear guides and matching motion parts was packed in our workshop this week for an Italian customer. The wooden crates contain linear guide rails, guide blocks, Ball Screw components and other parts prepared for an automation equipment project.
The order came from a machine builder who needed several motion components in one shipment. The guide rails and blocks were prepared together with Ball Screw parts because these components usually work around the same moving structure inside the machine.
HG series linear guides are commonly used where equipment needs stable movement under higher loads. The rail and block design allows the moving section to travel along a fixed path, while the Ball Screw handles the driving movement. This combination is often seen in CNC machines, automation systems and custom-built industrial equipment.
Italy has a strong base of machinery manufacturers, especially in automation, packaging equipment and specialized industrial machines. Many customers in this market are not looking for unusual parts, but for standard components that can be matched with their own machine designs. Linear guides, Ball Screw systems and related motion parts are often selected because they can be integrated into existing structures without major changes.
Before packing, the rails and blocks were arranged according to the customer's order list. The rails and other long parts were arranged inside the wooden crates before the smaller components were added. Smaller components were packed separately and fixed in position before the crates were closed.
The wooden cases were then moved to the warehouse and placed together with other export cargo waiting for sea loading. For long parts such as rails and shafts, keeping the pieces in the right position inside the crate is always the first thing considered during packing.
Orders from Italy often come from customers who are building or modifying their own machines. Many of them work with their own drawings and require different lengths, sizes or combinations of linear parts. Besides standard products, we also prepare Ball Screw, linear guides and other motion components according to customer drawings when a project requires a specific solution.
