We are all familiar with linear guides. How much do you know about the error of straightness in linear guides? Can everyone measure? Today, the editor will share this knowledge with you:
(1) The measurement standard of straightness error can be selected arbitrarily, and the evaluation standard should meet the principle of minimum condition. That is to say, when measuring the accuracy of the guide rail, two parallel ideal straight lines must be used to contain the actual contour of the measured guide rail, and the distance between the ideal straight lines must be minimized. Then the distance between the two ideal straight lines called the guide rail containment line is the straightness error of the tested guide rail.
(2) The principle that the measurement direction of the invention award will always remain unchanged no matter how the evaluation criteria are changed. This principle is that the measurement direction reflected by the measurement readings should always be perpendicular to the measurement standard, and the coordinate distance between the two containment lines should be used for measurement. The evaluation standard should not change due to a slight tilt between the evaluation standards and change the direction.
(3) After making several gears of equal pitch on the guide rail, use a level meter or other precision angle measuring instrument to make the supporting points connect end to end with the help of a special bridge plate, and move along the measuring direction to measure the relative level of each gear. The inclination angle of the selected zero position (measurement datum, horizontal line). So it can be converted into the height difference between adjacent ones. The comprehensive result of the relative height difference between the equidistant finite points reflects the ups and downs of the measured rail curve. The method of measuring the rail at the equidistant finite point with a level gauge.
