Coupling to correct concentricity
The purpose of correcting the center is to make the centerline of one rotor shaft a continuation curve of the centerline of the other rotor shaft. Because the shafts of the two rotors are connected by couplings, as long as the centerlines of the two pairs of wheels of the coupling are continuous, the centerlines of the two rotors must also be a continuous curve. To make the two pairs of wheel centers of the coupling continue, the following two conditions must be met:
1. Make the centers of the two pairs of wheels coincide, that is, make the outer circles of the two pairs of wheels coincide;
2. Make the joint surfaces (end surfaces) of the two pairs of wheels parallel (the two center lines are parallel). If the above two conditions are met at the same time, the centerline of the two axes is a continuation curve. If the measured values are not equal, the feet need to be adjusted to meet the above two conditions. Couplings are used in a variety of different host products, and the surrounding working environment is more complicated, such as temperature, humidity, water, steam, dust, sand, oil, acid, alkali, corrosive media, salt water, radiation, etc. One of the important factors that must be considered when shafting.
For the working quality of high temperature, low temperature, oil, acid, alkali medium, it is not suitable to choose the flexible coupling with general rubber as the elastic element material, and should choose the flexible coupling of the metal elastic element, such as diaphragm coupling, Serpentine spring couplings, etc.
