Metal corrosion is caused by various internal and external factors, mainly including: 1. The chemical composition and structure of the metal material itself; 2. The metal surface roughness (the oxygen concentration difference battery corrosion); 3. The solution composition and pH in contact with the metal surface ; 4. Ambient temperature and humidity; 5. Various environmental media in contact with metal surfaces.
How to do anti-rust treatment of ball screw:
First, the surface pretreatment of anti-rust materials.
1) Surface cleaning: The cleaning method must be selected according to the nature of the anti-rust material and the prevailing conditions. Commonly used methods are solvent cleaning, chemical treatment cleaning and mechanical cleaning.
2) After the surface is dried and cleaned, it can be dried with filtered dry compressed air, dried with a dryer at 120~170℃, or dried with clean gauze.
Second, apply anti-rust oil.
1) Dipping method: some small items are immersed in the anti-rust grease to make the surface adhere to the anti-rust grease. The thickness of the oil film can be achieved by controlling the temperature and viscosity of the anti-rust grease.
2) The spray method of large-scale anti-rust objects cannot be coated with oil by dipping method. Generally, use filtered compressed air with a pressure of about 0.7Mpa to be coated in a clean air place. The spray method is suitable for solvent-diluted rust-proof oil and thin-layer rust-proof oil, but perfect fire protection and labor protection measures must be taken.
3) The coating method is suitable for outdoor construction equipment and special-shaped products that are not suitable for dipping or coating. When coating the ball screw, be careful not to accumulate, and also to prevent coating leakage.
