It is not difficult to install the ball with the nut. First of all, we must prepare a sleeve with the same diameter as the ball groove of the screw. When we install it, we should use a dummy shaft of the corresponding model and a steel ball of the corresponding model. Generally speaking, the imported steel ball is better in wear resistance. Here are the detailed steps for installing the ball:
1. Clean the ball screw nut and ball.
2. Put the plastic ball retainer (ball reverser) back into the nut. When installing the ball retainer, pay attention to the smooth connection between the ball inlet and outlet of the ball retainer and the spiral groove.
3. Apply grease on the ball groove, then apply a little grease on the head of a needle, and stick the balls one by one with the grease on the needle and put them into the ball groove.
4. Put the ball into the spiral groove. Note that not all spiral grooves are filled. Put the ball according to the principle that a bead stopper is a circular garden. If the nut is four bead stoppers, it is four circular gardens.
5. Screw the nut into the screw, and be careful not to drop the ball here.
6. Turn the nut forward and backward, and check whether the nut runs smoothly. If it runs smoothly, it means it is installed.
Generally speaking, it is not recommended that you disassemble and install the nut by yourself, especially the high-lead ball screw. However, if the nut accidentally falls off or you have disassembled it now, you must install it according to the above steps.
